During my recent gourmet getaway at El Doncel, I was enchanted by its culinary offerings and fantastic location at the heart of the old town. I settled into Room 201, which was spacious and well-equipped, providing an excellent base for my stay. But the real gem lies in the restaurant, renowned for its Michelin star. Each morning, I indulged in the breakfast spread, showcasing creative cuisine that embraced the local flavors. The ambiance was inviting, reflective of the region's rich heritage. The dishes were a delightful exploration of textures and tastes, surprising my palate in ways I hadn’t anticipated. After exploring the area, I found numerous cafes and shops just a short stroll away, making it easy to soak in the vibrant culture. Though the church bells rang early, they added to the charm of the experience. El Doncel invites food enthusiasts to indulge while basking in the history that surrounds it.
